FJORATEX is the wool-performance fabric brand of Yuntai Textile, based in Suzhou, China. We develop wool and wool-blend knits for activewear, base layers and everyday clothing.
Our textile background
Our family’s textile experience spans three generations and more than 30 years, with a background in both fabric and garment production.
That experience has grown through ongoing bulk fabric business and long-standing relationships with production partners. It gives us a practical understanding of the work between a first sample and a finished order.
The Yuntai Textile background
Alongside FJORATEX’s wool focus, Yuntai continues to develop and supply functional sportswear fabrics, including polyester and nylon blends, stretch knits, mesh and fleece.
Development & production
Our team works with established production partners to develop and supply fabrics. We review your reference, specifications and intended use, then coordinate sample selection or development with the appropriate mill.
As a project moves into bulk, we coordinate production and arrange external testing to the agreed requirements. Fabric specifications, production responsibilities and supporting documents are confirmed with you and the partners involved.
Certifications & company information
Yuntai’s scope certificate · GRS / RWS
Yuntai’s IDFL scope certificate, IDF-25-936030, lists the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), with a product scope of dyed knitted fabrics.
The certificate was issued on 10 January 2026 and states an expiry date of 9 January 2027.
Production partners · OEKO-TEX
Our network includes production partners holding OEKO-TEX certificates. The applicable standard, product scope and validity are checked against the relevant partner’s certificate.
Certification documents are available by project. Product coverage and transaction certificates are confirmed for the specific order; scope certification does not apply to every fabric or shipment.
